"“The “No More Drama Queen”
presentation was phenomenal! As a result of your workshop,
many of the girls expressed a renewed sense of confidence. It helped
them to dig deep and find the jewels hidden inside of them, instead
of looking for approval from their peers.”
Tennill C. Raney, Guidance Counselor

Self-Esteem
Facts of the Month
Did you know?
"By age 15, clinically depressed girls
outnumber boys with depression 2 to 1,”
according to NYU Child Study Center.
Studies show
that girls’ ages 12 with low self-esteem and poor body image
were nearly two and a half times likelier to engage in heavy
alcohol use by age 15, according to the National Survey on Drug
Use and Health.
Girls who
learn to like themselves have greater self-esteem and positive
attitudes. They are more likely to be happier, more focused on
their goals and confident.
